Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups frozen corn thawed
  • 1 15-ounce can creamed corn
  • ½ cup 1 stick melted butter
  • cup honey
  • ¾ cup cornmeal
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients. Add the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared dish, sprinkle the cheddar evenly over the top, and bake for 40–45 minutes, until the top is golden and the center is set.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs, if desired, and serve warm.
